Description

Short title: Attorney General v Pickford.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General), at the relation of John Kirk.

Defendant(s): James Pickford.

Subject of depositions: Forest of Macclesfield. Metes and bounds, etc. Whether the Crown has any demesne lands within the forest lying in the parishes of Prestbury, Stockport,Taxall, and Gawseworth? etc. A lease of lands to defendant's father by the Earl of Derby.

County/place: Cheshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1666.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 April 1666 at Macclesfield.
