Description

Short title: Powell v Powell.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Powell.

Defendant(s): Samuel Powell, Robert Griffith, Rice ap John, Margaret Powell ap William, Peter Roberts, John Griffith, Alice Powell, Fabian Hughes, Humfrey Roberts.

Subject of depositions: Capital messuage called "The Gyfyngs" (parcel of the lordship of Bromfield and Yale), lyingin Brymbo, Gwersyllt, and Broughton, late of Samuel Powell (plaintiff's father). Custom of lordship touching ancient customary lands therein.

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1665.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 12 January 1666 at Wrexham.
