Description

Short title: Best v Brune.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Best, George Neale.

Defendant(s): Brune alias Brewyn Ryves, DD, and Dean of the King's Free Chapel of St Georgewithin the Castle of Windsor, John Baker, Timy. Kettlewell, Francis Grigg, Justinian Povey, Robert Levison.

Subject of depositions: Lease of the manor and tithes of Wolverhampton from the Dean of Windsor to Sir Walter Levison. Touching an action of ejectment brought against the plaintiff Best.

County/place: Staffordshire; Berkshire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1665.
