Subject of depositions: Borough and port of King's Lynn. Concerning monies received by the corporation "upon the ordinances of Parliament." Whether employed in compensation to the inhabitants for the quartering of soldiers? Touching a duty of 2s. per chaldron of coals in the port (levied by Act of Parliament of 1641), and the disposal of the proceeds of such duty. Also touching money paid to the corporation "upon subscripc'on of the proposic'ons soe called of Parlt." Repair and re-edification of St Magdalen's Hospital in Heywood. Compensation to persons for loss sustained during the siege by the Earl of Manchester. Value of the possessions of the Dean and Chapter of Norwich in the borough (from 1641 to 1649), and by whom received. What public money. received by the corporation since 1641, and how disposed of? Receipt of excise of salt brought into the port.
