Description

Short title: Attorney General v Howlett.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): William Howlett.

Subject of depositions: Grant by Letters Patent from Oliver Cromwell to Robert Doughty, Thomas Garrett, and William Life, of the excise of ale, beer, perry, syder, and metheglin, to be made, consumed, and spentin the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, for the year 1659. Composition.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 12 February 1663.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 29 April 1663 at Norwich.
