Description

Short title: Duke of York v Alured.

Plaintiff(s): James Duke of York and Albany, Earl of Ulster, Lord High Admiral of England and Ireland, Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, and Constable of Dover Castle.

Defendant(s): John Alured.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Scoulcotts, and a marriage between John Alured (defendant's father) and Mary Harley, daughter of Sir Richard Harley, of Buttercramb, etc.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1662.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 12 April 1662 at Beverley.
