Description

Short Title: Attorney General v Earl of Lindsey.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edmond Prideaux, bart (Attorney General), Edward Lord Gorges and his wife Jane, Francis Williamson.

Defendant(s): Montague Earl of Lindsey, William Oldisworth, William Wise, Partridge Rigden, James Burley, Simon Williamson, and others.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Gedney Abbots, Gedney Paulet, and Gedney Welby, and the manor of Sutton and the marshes adjoining. Metes and bounds, etc. Customs of manors, etc.

County/place: Lincolnshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1659.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 23 April 1659 at Holbech.
