Description

Short Title: Berkeley v Madox.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Charles Berkeley, kt.

Defendant(s): Richard Madox, the elder, Richard Madox, the younger, Richard Smarte, Mr Stile, Robert Wallis, Dorothy Leversage, widow, William Green, John Humfrey.

Subject of depositions: Heath or waste ground called Culmington alias Kilmington Heath, parcel of Culmington Manor, in the late forest of Frome Sel wood (Somerset and Wilts). Inclosure. Right of common.

County/place: Somerset; Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1654.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 and 24 January 1655 at Brewton.
