The documents are held in 63 boxes of differing sizes, each of which may well contain two dozen or more deeds, loose, in bundles and in portfolios. Two of the boxes cover two piece numbers, which accounts for the total of 65 pieces in the series. Some bundles are probably discrete assemblages of related material. The portfolios appear to contain deeds from specific reigns.
