Description

Short title: Herbert v Bundy.

Plaintiff(s): Ann Herbert, widow of William Herbert, of Cardiff Friers.

Defendant(s): Robert Bundy, Michael Nowell, Morgan Hardy, John Craddock, Elizabeth Tucker, widow.

Subject of depositions: Town of Cardiff (Glamorgan), and the "Town Mills" there. Custom of "suit and grist" [i.e. grinding corn, etc.] atmills. Also touching the Earl of Pembroke's mills in his manor of Listellabont.

County/place: Glamorgan.

Date of commission: 12 February 1648.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 24 April 1648 at Cardiff.
