Description

Short title: Currer v Phillip.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Currer, the elder, Henry Currer, the younger, William Currer.

Defendant(s): Thomas Phillip, Benjamin. Rayner alias Ranard, Thomas Fowler, Christopher Waid, Edmund Townend, Constantine Crombock alias Cromack.

Subject of depositions: Manor and town of Sillesdon and the ancient mills there. Custom of "soke, suit, and service" to mills.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 14 July 1641.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 15 October 1641 at Skipton-in-Craven.
