Description

Short title: Dean of the Cathedral of Ely v Gill.

Plaintiff(s): The Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undevided Trinity of Ely.

Defendant(s): William Gill, John Rawlin, John Wright, John Gregory, Simon Pelham.

Subject of depositions: Manor and town of Terrington. Touching the choice and appointment of "Little Malmen" (collectors of "salt rent ") in that town. Plaintiff's claim to rent for lands in Fullingbill, etc.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 12 February 1641.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 May 1641 at King's Lynn.
