Description

Short title: Guild of Masters Seamen v Mayor of Great Grimsby.

Plaintiff(s): The guild or brotherhood of Masters or Pilots Seamen of the Trinity House of Kingston-upon-Hull.

Defendant(s): The mayor and burgesses of Great Grimsby (Lincolnshire), Edward Popple, Robert Helme.

Subject of depositions: Ports of Great Grimsby (Lincolnshire) and Kingston-upon-Hull. Touching the duty of "lodage or primage" paid in Great Grimsby.

County/place: Lincolnshire; Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1640.
