Description

Short title: Attorney General v Meredith.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Banks, kt (Attorney - General), by the relation of William Sheppard.

Defendant(s): Nicholas Meredith.

Subject of depositions: Disposal of money collected in Bristol, "for the use and benefit of "Eliz. Princess Palatine of the Rhine, and for the defence of the "Palatinate." Alleged decision of the contributors of the money to devote it to the redemption of captives in Algiers and Tunis.

County/place: Bristol.

Date of commission: 12 February 1639.
