Description

Short title: Dean of the Cathedral of Hereford v Green.

Plaintiff(s): Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of Hereford.

Defendant(s): James Green, Citsill Delehey, gent. Helen Delehay, widow.

Subject of depositions: Lands in the manor of Preston on Wye (Herefordshire), late of John Delehay, of Alterreins (Herefordshire), and the manors of "Woolhope ", "Canons Pyon" and "Norton Canon." Customs of manors. Payment of "Heriots" etc.

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 6 July 1636.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 26 September 1636 at Hereford.
