Description

Short title: Viccary v Popham.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Viccary, Christopher Searle, Theophilus Marwood, Haniball Rowe, John Rowe.

Defendant(s): Sir Francis Popham, kt, John Farrer, Francis Pulman, Robert North, Hugh Ewens.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Shabcomb and Dunkeswell (Devon), and the commons or waste grounds called "Dunkeswell Down ", "Wolverchurch Down ", "Ruffgray Down ", "Ruffgray Moore and Ruffgray Wood." Metes and bounds. Tithes. Common of pasture.

County/place: Devon.

Date of commission: 10 July 1633.
