Description

Short title: Vermuyden v Wise.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Cornelius Vermuyden, kt.

Defendant(s): William Wise.

Subject of depositions: Marshes and marsh grounds belonging to Sutton and Tidd St Maryes (Lincolnshire), "inned" from the sea (i.e. recovered from the sea) by the plaintiff and his partners. Touching the number of acres so inned, and the execution of the work generally.

County/place: Lincolnshire.

Date of commission: 10 July 1633.
