Description

Short title: Jason v Barnes.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Jason.

Defendant(s): Thomas Barnes, James Welsh.

Subject of depositions: Three antient corn or grist mills in the parish of Christchurch (Southampton), called "Knapp Mill ", "Mead Mill" and "Throop Mill." Alleged interference with custom of "suit and grist" to mills by erection of defendants' new mills.

County/place: Hampshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1633.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 24 April 1633 at Wimborn Minster.
