Description

Short title: Mayor of Newcastle-on-Tyne v Hilton.

Plaintiff(s): Mayor and burgesses of the town of Newcastle-on-Tyne.

Defendant(s): Henry Hilton, of S. Sheeles (Durham), gent.

Subject of depositions: Port of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (Northumberland). Alleged breach of plaintiff's privilege of "common brewing of beer and ale which is or hath been brewed to sell within the said port. ".

County/place: Northumberland; Durham.

Date of commission: 12 February 1633.
