Description

Short title: Ouchterlony v Barrington.

Plaintiff(s): Sir James Ouchterlony, kt, one of the gentlemen of His Majesty's Privy Chamber, Richard Gurnard, citizen and cloth-maker, of London.

Defendant(s): Robert Barrington.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Catterick (Yorkshire), and certain "flatts" in such lordship, called "Nunn Flatt ", "Crooked Flatt" and "Oxpasture" etc. Whether parcel of the lands of Margaret late Countess of Salisbury, or parcel of the late monastery of St Mary near the walls of York.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 20 June 1632.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 25 September 1632 at Richmond.
