Description

Short title: Sawyer v Williams.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edmond Sawyer, the King's patentee and farmer of the toll of the market and the lordship of Builth, Andrew Pawlyn (Brecon).

Defendant(s): John Williams, John Gwynne, William Price, Thomas Watkins, John Price, William David Corvicer, John Apprice, Rowland Prosser, Roger Williams, Watkin Morgan, Morgan Jones.

Subject of depositions: Market at Built, and contempt of Court of Exchequer committed by defendants in beating messenger, etc.

County/place: Breconshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1631.
