Description

Short title: Fanshaw v Revell.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Thomas Fanshaw, kt of the Bath, Remembrancer of the King's Court of Exchequer.

Defendant(s): Robert Revell, vicar of Dronfield, Gregory Wood, Stephen Bright, Robert Brooksbank, Edward Geslinge.

Subject of depositions: Grammar school of Dronfield (Derbyshire), established and endowed by Sir Thomas and Sir Henry Fanshaw, father and grandfather of plaintiff. Alleged neglect of buildings, by defendants (vicar of Dronfield, and others, governors of the school).

County/place: Derbyshire.

Date of commission: 29 November 1630.
