Description

Short title: Attorney General v Middleton.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Robert Heath, (Attorney General), kt, on behalf of Robert Hest, Thomas Kitson, Robert Croft, and others of His Majesty's tenants of Warton.

Defendant(s): Thomas Middleton, Thomas Hodgson, Richard Stable, Thomas Roper, Robert Oscliffe, William Barker, James Hobkin, Robert Watson.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Warton and the wastes and commons belonging (Lancashire), and the capital messuage called Leighton. Metes and bounds. Alleged encroachments on commons.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 27 November 1630.
