Description

Short title: Temple v William.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Thomas Temple, kt and baronet, Sir Peter Temple, Thomas Justley.

Defendant(s): Sir William Fawnt, kt, Isaac Cooke, William Knight, Francis Holiock, John Hayward, Edward Page, Richard Blockley.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Lutterworth (Leicestershire), and the ancient mills there. Alleged diversion of "suit and custom" from mills by defendants and others.

County/place: Leicestershire.

Date of commission: 16 June 1630.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 6 August 1630 at Lutterworth.
