Description

Short title: Mayor of Weymouth v Crossinge.

Plaintiff(s): The mayor, aldermen, bailiffs, etc. of the boro' of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis, and Jeremy Babbydge.

Defendant(s): Thomas Crossinge.

Subject of depositions: Port or haven of Wearmouth, repair and maintenance thereof. Petty customs payable to the corporation by merchants of Exeter and others.

County/place: Dorset; Devon.

Date of commission: 25 November 1629.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 January 1630 at Weymouth and Melcomb Regis.
