Plaintiff(s): The mayor, aldermen, and burgesses of the town of Doncaster (Yorkshire), John Bateman.
Defendant(s): William Thompson.
Subject of depositions: Ancient mills in the boro' and manor of Doncaster. Alleged interference by defendants with the custom of "suit and grist" to the mills by setting up other mills in that town.
County/place: Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 28 November 1629.
