Description

Short title: Goring v Hanley.

Plaintiff(s): Sir George Goring, kt, and Sir Edward Goring, kt.

Defendant(s): Henry Hanley.

Subject of depositions: Honour of Peverell Fee (Notts and Derby). Metes and bounds. Also concerning the town or village of Brampcoat alias Bramcoke, parcel of the late priory of Sempringham (Lincolnshire); whether a manor of itself, or parcel of the honour of Peverel? Touching the right of digging coal mines on Brampton Moore or Common. Liberties, customs, and privileges of the honour. [Sir Francis Willoughby, bailiff of the honour, is mentioned].
