Description

Short title: Sandys v Nash.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Samuel Sandys, kt, lord of the manor of Ombersley.

Defendant(s): Thomas Nash, Thomas Saunders, Margery Randall, Phillip Randall, Thomas Cowles, John Pooler, Margery Watis, and Peter Hatton, copyhold tenants of the manor of Ombersley.

Subject of depositions: Manor and rectory of Ombersley, held by plaintiff at a yearly fee-farm rent of £122 9s 1½d. Customs of manor.

County/place: Worcestershire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1622.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 14 January 1623 at Worcester.
