Description

Short title: Prestwood v Gilbard.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Prestwood.

Defendant(s): Nicholas Gilbard.

Subject of depositions: Rectory of Westallington alias Westalvington; whether it extends into the parish of Malboro'? Concerning also the rectory of Totnes. Touching a portion of tithe called the Maridole Tithe, in the parish of Malboro', alleged to belong to the rectory of Totnes. [The names and possessions of John Giles, sometime farmer of the rectory of Totnes, William Gilbard, deceased, grandfather of defendant, Henry Tabb, and Sir William Courtenary, are mentioned].
