Short title: Aldermen of Busy St Edmunds v Bacon.
Plaintiff(s): The aldermen and burgesses of Bury Saint Edmunds, grantees in fee-farm from the Crown, of the casualties arising and happening within the town.
Defendant(s): Sir Nicholas Bacon, kt and bart, Edward Bacon, esq.
Subject of depositions: Liberty of the town of Bury St Edmunds. Meets andbounds, and jurisdiction. Touching the administration of justice by Sir Nicholas Bacon, justice of peace, before the incorporation of the town; and touching the jurisdiction of the justices of assize in the liberties of Bury, before the dissolution of the monastery of Bury.
County/place: Suffolk.
Date of commission: 12 February 1622.
