Description

Short title: Lustedd v Brown.

Plaintiff(s): George Lustedd.

Defendant(s): Thomas Brown, John Brown.

Subject of depositions: Money owing by defendant Thomas to Edward Lustedd (plaintiff's father, deceased), and now to plaintiff, and the office of gunstone maker to the Ordnance Office, in the Tower of London, granted by Queen Elizabeth about May, 38 Eliz, to Thomas and his appointment of plaintiff as his deputy. Also touching a grant to Thomas under Privy Seal, about the year 6 James I, empowering him to exchange, unserviceable pieces of iron ordnance, and alleged non-fulfilment by defendant Thomas of his agreement with plaintiff to divide the profits. Also touching the value of the office. [The gunstone factory at Bromley (Kent) is mentioned].
