Plaintiff(s): Sir John Carew, kt.

Defendant(s): John Phillipps, Thomas Phillipps.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to grounds called "Stable Mead" alias "Stable Park ", "Rowe Park" and "Sheep's Pasture" and "John Thomas's Close" in the parish of Carew; whether parcel of the castle and demesnes of Carew? [Purchase of the castle, of Queen Elizabeth by Sir John Perrott, (attainted,) and the possessions of Robert Earl of Essex; grant by Crown, dated 2 February James I, to Robert Vernon, Sir Henry Williams, and Henry Finch of the castle, and the possessions of Rees Rotherch and Richard Phillips, are mentioned].
