Description

Short title: Lady Beaumont v Reade.

Plaintiff(s): Katherine Lady Beaumont, widow, Sir Henry Beaumont, kt.

Defendant(s): William Reade, Thomas Reade, Ralph Reade, Thomas Dawkin, Nicholas Dawkin, Thomas Harris, Peter Plomer, Whalley White.

Subject of depositions: Town or village and manor of Thernebye, and the rectory there held by plaintiffs of the Crown, at a fee-farm rent of 5l. Inclosure of the fields of Thirneby by defendants to the detriment of plaintiffs. Tithes. [The possessions of Sir William Turpin, late of Knaptoft (Leicestershire), deceased, and of Sir Thomas Beaumont, kt, are mentioned].

Date of commission: 28 November 1618.
