Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Yelverton, Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Hugh Doody, Thomas Tittensor, Randle Woodcock, Roger Dale, William Simpson, Nicholas Barrett, Thomas Whiston.

Subject of depositions: Possessions of the late chantry of St Mary, in Stoke-upon-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyne, and Pencull, in the tenure of defendants, said to have been granted by Edward VI. (and sealed with the duchy of Lancaster seal, 20 July 4 Edward VI) to Sir Ralph Bagnold. [The possessions of Roger Brereton, of Checkley (Staffordshire), Anne Bagnold, sister of Sir Ralph, Sir William Potts, Thomas Bagnold, and Samuel Bagnold, are mentioned].
