Description

Short title: Yelverton v Hussey.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Yelverton, kt, Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Jasper Hussey, Blois Tolle (stranger), John Arnold (stranger).

Subject of depositions: Book of Orders made in the time of Queen Elizabeth for the lading and unlading of goods and merchandize in the port of London. Alleged disobedience of Orders by defendants by unlading their goods at "Somers Key" instead of Custom House Key. Also touching the administration of the duties of the Custom House since 7 Eliz "when the Queen took the customs into her own hands. ".

Date of commission: 25 June 1618.
