Description

Short title: Pettus v Athill.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Pettus.

Defendant(s): John Athill, William Matthewe, Miles Bert.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Dulingcross, and two closes of pasture in Foulsham, in the possession of the Bishop of Norwich, Rent reserved on manor. Donation to the poor by Sir John Pettus (plaintiff's father). Whetherthe closes are parcel of the manor? [A grant of the manor by Queen Elizabeth to Sir Thomas Hennage, and grant of same by him to Thomas Pettus, alderman and citizen of Norwich, and the possessions of Robert Themylthorp, are mentioned].
