Description

Short title: Yelverton v Powne.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Yelverton, kt, Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Thomas Powne, John Wenmouth, Pascow Jane, Ralph Wenmouth.

Subject of depositions: Tenements called "Tradford" in the parish of Llansallos, and "Cortoll" in the parish of Pelynte, in the tenure of William Wenmouth, of Llansallos, bankrupt, son of defendant Ralph, brother of defendant John, brother-in-law of defendant Powne, and nephew of defendant Paschow. Touching the debts and liabilities of William, Crown debtor.

County/place: Cornwall.

Date of commission: 24 June 1618.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 1 October 1618 at Fowye.
