Description

Short title: Johnson v Hopton.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Johnson.

Defendant(s): Ralph Hopton, James Woodward, John Boulton, Christopher Wilkinson.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to land in Coldhealey, and lands called "Wortley." Whether 6s 8d was paid to the late priory of St Oswald, of Nostell, and to the Crown for same? whether same was formerly in the possession of Sir Thomas Gargrave, knight, who sold same to Gervase Neville, and then of Henry Neville, who sold same to Thomas Hopton and Bridget his wife? Metes and bounds. Survey.
