Description

Short title: Marquis of Winchester v Wight.

Plaintiff(s): William Lord Marquis of Winchester.

Defendant(s): John Wight, clerk, John Gayre.

Subject of depositions: Portion of tithes and lands called "Prebend Meadow" etc; whether parcel of the late nunnery or abbey of St Mary, Winchester? Prebends and tithes thereof. Touching the prebend and parsonage of Abbas ItcHenry Glebe lands and tithes thereof. [The possessions of John, late Marquis of Winchester, Richard Puleston, clerk, and of Richard Knight, sometime farmer of parsonage, are mentioned].

County/place: Hampshire.
