Description

Short title: Phillips v Cogan.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Phillips, kt, Philip Waggott, Robert Baylie, John Morley, George Clarke, Thomas Vawdie, Robert Symons, Francis Howse.

Defendant(s): Robert Cogan.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Mountagu, and the demesne lands of the abbey of Montague. What tithes of the demesnes are paid to the parsonage of Montague? Metes and bounds of, and common of pasture on, the demesnes. [Sir William Peter, kt, grandfather of the present Lord Peter, and farmer of the demesnes, and Robert Freak, purchaser of the manor, are mentioned].
