Plaintiff(s): Attorney General, by the relation of Robert Treswell, Surveyor-General of Royal Woods on this side Trent.
Defendant(s): Sir Edward Wintour, kt.
Subject of depositions: Manors of Lindney, Aylberton, Allaston, and Pirton, and lands in such places and in St Brevill's, Colford, and Newland,in possession of defendant. Touching "fee trees" claimed by defendant as chief constable of the forest of Dean.
County/place: Gloucestershire.
Date of commission: 29 November 1616.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 13 January 1617 at Lidney.
