Description

Short title: Wiseman v Allanbye.

Plaintiff(s): Lancelot Wiseman.

Defendant(s): Thomas Allanbye.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to land called Colt close, "in Cumberland "; touching an assignment thereof made by Margaret (defendant's wife), late wife of James Wiseman (being his administratrix) to Edward Bushby and Richard Kirkbride. [The names of Elizabeth, Apelyne, and Thomasine Wiseman (plaintiff's three sisters), and a demise of the lands by Queen Elizabeth to Miles Doddinge, are mentioned].

County/place: Cumberland.

Date of commission: 28 November 1615.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 January 1616 at Penrith.
