Description

Short title: Poyntz v Dethick.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Poyntz, eldest son of Sir John Poyntz and Dame Elizabeth Poyntz.

Defendant(s): Gilbert Dethick, Henry Fleetwood, Elizabeth Searle.

Subject of depositions: Debts, etc, of Sir John Poyntz, deceased, eldest son of Sir Nicholas and Lady Margaret Poyntz (deceased), and more particularly touching a bond for £10,000 entered into by him. [The names of Edward Poyntz (deceased), late son and executor of Sir Nichs, the manors of Iron Acton, Acton Ilgar, Frampton, Cotterell, Lusteridge, Hull, Hill, Tockington, manor and castle of Beverston, lands in Herefordshire, manors of Charlton and Morland, in county of Somerset, and lands in Oxford and Berkshire belonging to Sir John, mortgage of some of his lands to Edward Earl of Worcester or Lord Herbert his son, the possessions of Webber Pokett, Grissell Poyntz, Richard Stanton, of Cirencester, and Alexander Searle, His Majesty's proctor, are mentioned].
