Short title: Bacon v Leake.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Francis Bacon, Attorney General.

Defendant(s): James Leake.

Subject of depositions: Town and wapentake of Newark (Nottinghamshire), and the wastes of the towns of Balderton, Franton, Coddington, and Wynthorpe, and of other towns in such wapentake. Alleged encroachments on the wastes. Common of pasture. Customs of manor. Survey. [Lord Burley, tenant of the manor of Balderton, James Lawton, of Newark-on-Trent, and his under bailiff Thomas Elvis, are mentioned].
