Description

Short title: Taylor v Meverell.

Plaintiff(s): Paul Taylor.

Defendant(s): Robert Meverell and Elizabeth his wife.

Subject of depositions: Alleged agreement, under which estates in Darleton are held under defendants, custodians of the same, formerly held under Lady Leighton. [Sampson Meverell (father of defendant Robert), late of Thorneley (Staffordshire), and Elizabeth, his wife, now Lady Leighton, and a grant of land by Queen Elizabeth to Mr Mildmay and Francis Meverell, eldest son of Sampson, are mentioned].

County/place: Nottinghamshire.
