Description

Short title: Ingram v Baynton.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Arthur Ingram, kt.

Defendant(s): William Baynton, Robert Greenberie.

Subject of depositions: Mills in the manor of Leeds Kirkgate and Leeds Maynriding, and the manor of Hunslet. Whether Hunslet is a manor of itself? Alleged injury caused by defendants to Leeds mills by getting the inhabitants of Leeds to grind their corn at Hunslet mills. Metes and bounds, and customs of the manors. [John Linley, late farmer of Leeds mills, Robert Barmby, now farmer of same, and Sir Philip Cary, owner of Hunslet mills, are mentioned].
