Defendant(s): Bartholomew Hales, late high sheriff of Warwick.
Subject of depositions: Execution of the office of sheriff. What sums of money have been levied by defendant in Warwick by virtue of his office since the death of William Foster,plaintiff's late husband, for which he stood charged (as under-sheriff to defendant) during his lifetime, and the seizure of Foster's property to satisfy his defalcations.
County/place: Warwickshire.
Date of commission: 1 July 1612.
