Description

Short title: Attorney General v Webb.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Thomas Webb, John Smyth, Richard Norris, John Woodman, Richard Champneys alias Welch, Robert Somers, the younger, Robert Peasley, John Williams, Richard Blechley, John Parker, John Wynyard, Henry Box, John Warner, Edward Taylor.

Subject of depositions: Two parcels of land called The Rydings, in the manor of Old Sodbury; whether parcel of a tenement called Hampsteeds Farm, and parcel of the late dissolved monastery of Bradenstoke, in the parish of Clack (Wiltshire)? Grant to the burgesses, of Chipping Sodbury by Thomas Stevens, the now lord, or by other lords of the manor. Touching other lands in Chipping Sodbury, late of the dissolved Fraternity of the Virgin Mary; whether granted by the Crown, 3 Edw VI to Sir Miles Partridge, and afterwards conveyed to Richard Pate? Customs of manor. Common of pasture.
