Description

Short title: Gawdren v Bond.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Gawdren, by Henry Skipwith, his guardian.

Defendant(s): William Bond, clerk.

Subject of depositions: Parish of Marston, and the hamlet of Halton, and the rectory impropriate of Marston. Did it lately belong to the priory of Tutbury? (Staffordshire). Metes and bounds of parsonage. Tithes. Tithes of Churchbroughton. Were grants made of the tithes to Clement Agerd by Edward VI in 4 Edward VI to Robert Abell by Queen Elizabeth, in 9 Eliz, and to Henry Trickett by the Queen, in 26 Eliz?.

County/place: Derbyshire; Staffordshire.

Date of commission: 30 October 1611.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 9 January 1612 at Church Broughton.
