Description

Short title: Bailiff of Maldon v Springnell.

Plaintiff(s): Bailiff, aldermen, burgesses, and commonalty of the borough of Maldon.

Defendant(s): Robert Springnell.

Subject of depositions: Haven called Maldon Heithe, and two bridges, one of stone, called Heibridge, the other of wood, called Fulbridge, on the way to Colchester. Touching repair of haven and bridges. Custom of Much Maldon Manor called "Landcheap." Touching the manor of Little Maldon and other lands lately purchased by defendant of Sir Thomas Gardyner, of Halstead, Sir William Herrys, kt, and Elisha Erington. Metes and bounds.

County/place: Essex.

Date of commission: 12 June 1611.
